Sales Executive - Thomann-Hanry

Salary: £26,000pa + Commission

Thomann-Hanry is a rapidly growing and profitable business providing a unique service to property managers in London.  This growth means there is now an opportunity for an articulate and enthusiastic individual to join the sales team.

Based in our offices in North West London and reporting to the Business Development Director, your role will be to support the existing sales function and generate and develop new opportunities.

You will have previous sales experience, preferably in a business-to-business role and will have excellent sales administration skills. You will understand what it is like to work in a busy sales office and to meet clients face-to-face. You will be literate and numerate and confident in your written, telephone and one-on-one communication skills and will be prepared to work hard to increase the company’s business. Appropriate technical training will be given.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

*        Manage the Business Development pipeline and delivery of the company’s key objectives

*        Gather sales intelligence and manage the ACT Database ensuring customer records and contact history are kept up to date

*        Deliver email, postal and telephone campaigns to generate new business from existing clients and new prospects

*        Handle incoming enquiries

*        Meet clients and prospects on-site to discuss potential projects

*        Promote added-value services

*        Present proposals, follow-up quotations and negotiate with clients

*        Develop relationships with subcontractors, instructing them to bid for outsourced work and handle their quotations

*        Represent the organisation at trade exhibitions and events

Skills and competencies

*        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*         Ability to thrive within a commercial environment – excellent client management skills

*         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

*         Proactive and positive attitude with a calm and methodical approach to work.

*         Mature customer service ethic and a flexible approach to meeting client requirements.

*         Ability to prioritize workload with an attention to detail and willingness to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner.

*        Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

*        Motivated to follow up incoming leads and quotes and to generate new enquiries

*        Good interpersonal skills, confident, sense of humour, and experience in influencing others.

*        Sufficiently confident - after training – to meet clients alone or with colleagues

Experience

*        Practical experience and understanding of sales and marketing processes.

*        Two years experience

*        Use of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook).

*        Experience of working with project management/FM/support service sectors is preferred.

Qualifications

*        At least 2 A Levels (or Level 3 equivalent) and GCSE Maths and English Language

Platform Operator / Site Manager - Thomann-Hanry                             

Salary: £32,000pa + substantial overtime and benefits.

Thomann-Hanry is a rapidly growing and profitable business providing a unique service to property managers in London.  This growth means there is now an opportunity for an articulate and enthusiastic individual to join the project team.

Based on site in London and our depot in Park Royal and reporting to the contracts manager, your role will be to operate and drive one of our facade cleaning platforms, manage your team and ensure the safe application of our patented system.

You will have previous platform or crane operating experience. You will understand what it is like to work in busy city centre locations and how to manage a safe working environment. You will be literate and numerate. You will be happy to work long hours and weekends if required - this is not a 9-5 job. Appropriate technical training will be given.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·          Managing a small team of 3-4 people on your site and under your direct supervision.

·          Liaising with your manager and completing paperwork as required.

·          Managing logistics of getting equipment and material to site.

·          Operating an exceptionally large and heavy MEWP requiring a high level of consideration and awareness.

·          Managing all aspects relating to health and safety legislation and company policy.                                                                                          

Skills and Competencies

·          Minimum 2 years of experience operating large platforms or preferably cranes.

·          High level of awareness of what is going on around you.

·          Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·          Proactive and positive attitude with a calm and methodical approach to work.

·          Mature customer service ethic and a flexible approach to meeting client requirements.

·          Ability to prioritize workload with an attention to detail and willingness to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner.
